? about changing dates after purchasing tickets

Okay, first off - I think I'm gonna be sick. I whined and begged and cried so much that I finally wore DH down and he agreed to a Disney trip this year. In my excitement, I completely looked at the calendar wrong. What was I thinking? We can't go on the dates I bought tickets for.

I was lucky enough to get tickets for $59 per person per way (4 rt tickets for $546.80 total from SouthWest). Since we can't go then, we (as in DH & I as I no longer trust myself even with a calendar!) looked at the calendar and found a different date and the prices for the flights are the same.

So ... generally speaking, what kind of fee, if any, is usually charged for changing dates? The type of fare is "Promotional".

Gail thanks so much for pointing out that link! You really can't believe how sick I've been today knowing that I had to tell DH I goofed.

He's been very understanding about it. He knows that I've been under a lot of stress lately but still - I should have been more careful.

The only he said was that he hoped it wouldn't cost extra to change dates!!
