? about cancelling airfare purchased through expedia

We have E-tickets purchased on expedia. A friend of ours charged them for us. We might need to cancel or reschedual. Has anyone here done this? I was just wondering what the penalties would be. Would it be cheaper to reschedual or just cancel? My friend charged the tickets on her credit card, can I call expedia, the tickets are in our name, but it was her charge card, does she need to call? Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!

it depends on the fare rules. if you want to change dates more than likely you will be charged the 100 fee to do this and then whatever additional collections for the new fare that you will qualify for. sometimes its more than what you initially paid for the tkt.

most ticket changes through Expedia are $100.00 dollars. I believe there is a feature on the itenirary page helping you figure out how much it would cost to make changes to your ticket. check near the bottom of your final confirmation page.
