What is the Community Hall ? Is it just for DVC'ers or is it open to all guests?

Community Hall rents bikes, videos for the VCR, has games like ping pong, a TV, and member updates (with food!) are held there at 8 a.m. on Tuesdays. While it may be for members, nobody goes around asking if you are a member, so anybody can go in there. Also, at the member update meetings, there are always people in there who are not members, but are interestied in getting info without attending a presentation. Everyone is welcome. If you have not gone over thee yet, you should go and investigate.

I think they have member rates as well as non member rates to rent things like bikes, tennis rackets, videos, etc. so both members and non members are welcome to use the facilities.

Bill - you forgot that I'll be with you and the Mrs!!! Remember??? I'm joining you guys just to take care of things like "finding the Community Hall and carrying luggage!!!""

All kidding aside - it's around back from the Luna Park Pool. If you have kids with you there are also some "free" video games there and arts and craft type stuff. With regards to renting stuff like videos, DVC Members can get up to 3 tapes per night and it's free. Non - DVC Members are charged something but I don't know what. You will be asked at the time of the rental if you are a DVC Member and to see your Membership card.

If I don't "talk" to you again, have a great trip. It's soon isn't it??

Bill K - I know you are just going to love the BWV. Am I correct that you've never stayed there? This was my second trip "home" and I'm planning next years. I know this board is just a wealth of information but if you have any little questions please feel free to e-mail me.

You would think that this 51 year old gal here would have had her "fill of WDW" by now. NEVER!!!!! My husband and son just look at me and laugh.

On the boardwalk this last trip they (CM's) were stopping people like crazy and asking them to participate in a quick survey. Then they asked if you'd mind receiving a more detailed survey in the mail, completing it and returning it? But of course I'd do that is ususally my reply beaming from ear to ear. Sure enough; it was in yesterday's mail. When DH walked in with the mail he said "bet this doesn't get tossed on the table" and laughed!! It's done and in the mail as we speak!!

I see you're in NJ....Hot enough for you? I'm in NYC and I feel like I'm back in Florida!!

This will be our 3rd trip to BWV. The first 2 trips were family reunions. One for my wifes side, and then one for mine. It was a great experience, but a much shorter trip with a very busy agenda, not much time to enjoy the BWV.
This time it will be a longer stay with just my family. We have a toned down agenda so that we can enjoy the activities of BWV's, and stroll along at our own leisurely pace.
It always seems like the first time for us! I am 40 years old and still can't get enough of WDW. I guess I'm not alone!! I guess there are worse things to be addicted to.

I renamed the old Xmas song "The 12 days of Xmas" to "The 12 days till Disneyworld".

Bill K - well then you surely will enjoy this vacation. This past trip was a more "relaxing" trip and I'm even "streamlining" the next down even more. I'm tired of the "Commando" vacations. Been there; done that; and did it again...... So next year I'll actually have 2 day where we do absolutely nothing but hang at the pool! I'm even going to SeaWorld and I haven't been there in 20 years!! In years past I never would even have thought about going "off world" while at WDW. Now just knowing that I can go as many times as want ( and points available) truely makes a difference.


I'll be counting the days with you.....
