I am trying to book 2 rooms at the pop century. I was going to put them both in my name. We are taking my sister & nephew with us and getting them there own room. Can i not just book the room in my name with my address?

You sure can.

okay i thought so, but the cm i just talked to said they need my sister address for her room. I will call & try again then.

I booked 4 rooms. and we were all over the resort. took a long time to fix it.

good luck.

You cannot book multiple rooms with the same name. The system will not let you.

You have to book one in your name and the other in your sister's name.

I called back the male cm i talked to said sure i can book them all in your name, but he still did 2 different confirmation #s & asked for my sisters address for her room. I just gave them my address as if she lived here (i don't guess it will hurt anything doing that).

Did you get a traveling together code number? This is what shows Disney that your reservations are linked. You need this... If you didn't get one, call back! We have done this many times and it is the best way to assure your rooms are next door. It also allows one person (you, I assume) to be the contact for both ressies.

They are probably trying to make 2 ressies since she will be the adult in the 2nd room and then just link them at the end. This is what they did for us when I brought my mom along. We were still able to get connecting rooms and such. I was able to check in us all at the same time when we got to the PoP. I think the problem lies if you have a package booked with dining or tickets. We just put our addy as my mom's addy. It doesn't really make a difference one way or the other. We didn't book flights or anything through Disney, so it wasn't a big deal. The one thing I will say is if she has a seperate, but linked ressie you can have her KTTW card seperate charging from your own. Not sure if you can do that if you are all booked under one ressie.

I just did room only for now but will add tickets later on near time. I didn't think of there being a problem with a package deal. How will that work with tickets being added.

You will have to do a new reservation for a pkg with a new deposit if you go from room only to a pkg. They will then cancel your room only and refund you the deposit. Unless you are doing dining you are probably better off just keeping a room only and buying tickets from Undercover tourist or another authorized broker with a discount

I thought you could book multiple rooms. I read on the DIS that some have done it. What if I wanted to book 2 rooms at POP so my teenager kids can have their own bed? Can I put one of my kids' name on the reservation if they are not going to let me use my name on the reservation twice?

I booked two rooms in my name at Pop last March so unless they changed something since then it is possible. Also requested connected rooms and got them.
