Is there a particular person to contact for pre-planning that dissers prefer? It has been several years since our last trip and the person I dealt with before became a very dear and personal friend but, sadly, she has moved on in the company. Any suggestions or should I just contact them and hope for the best? It actually worked out fabulously the first time (and for many trips after - spoiled I was!) - I was just wondering if anyone had a magical pre-planning contact person that they would recommend. Thanks so much!
 
If you want their IPO Cast Members to make your ADR's when your reservation is 180 days away then it's something that can be done, as long as you give them a list of restaurants you want and times you like in advance. You can also make requests of food or drinks you would like to have while you are there, if they are not offered in the lounge and that information will be passed onto Club Level Cast Members working at the Boardwalk Inn.
 
Thank you CR Resort Fan for Life - you are exactly who I wanted to have respond - since I have not posted enough to send you a private message ! Is there someone in the IPO planning office to contact or just send a generic e-mail? I booked through an agent so I will not be personally contacted by the staff. Anyone in particular you use and have had success with or do you book everything yourself? I usually have the staff book restaurants, etc and just let them know well in advance what, where and when. Your advice is greatly appreciated as we share the same appreciation and respect for the Boardwalk Staff. Thanks.
 
Well a couple of days after making our December 2011 Boardwalk Inn Club Level reservation we got an e-mail from their IPO Cast Members which basically thanked us for reserving with them and had a link to a form we fill out. Then after filling out that form you will get another e-mail from one of their IPO Cast Members themselves regarding what you answered so they know what to help you with when it comes to their pre-planning. We don't use anyone specifc because we just respond to who ever e-mails us back after filling out that form, so that will be someone random. Now since we have never reserved a Club Level stay through a travel agency I have no idea how do deal with the IPO, because usually all that information gets sent to them. My best advice is to send them a e-mail yourself explaining that, so they can deal directly with yourself.

Hi OP! We planned an in-room pirate-themed surprise for our three boys at BWI in August and worked quite extensively with BWI IPO. Each time we corresponded, a different CM in IPO would respond.

But I did notice that Omar was particularly helpful and very enthusiastic. When I called to discuss the details, Omar answered the call and remembered quite a lot about us and our plans. He was able to provide specific details about all of the arrangements - very impressive! They are a great group and really went above and beyond to keep track of plans, make helpful suggestions and shop for us. Then the CMs at BWI followed through to set up our surprise (we LOVE Jackie!)
