They definitely invite people to come up and dance, and they do have a dance floor. Last trip I can't remember if anyone took them up on the offer or not.

The dance floor was full for both preformances that we saw when we ate there. I would say most were smaller kids with their parents, but there were a few adult couples polkaing. My dh and I included. LOVED it.

1) It is not a dance party.
2) Some people are "dragged" onto the floor to "dance".
3) If there is room, they do invite anyone to join in.
4) Usually 2-3 couples will get up - that's all.

That's been our experience too in the 6-7 times we've eaten there. Lots of little ones and a few adult couples dancing.

When we have been at Christmas they invite children to come up and dance and hear a story. They even give them a treat.

Ah I love the Biergarten One of my first memories of Disney is getting up with my grandfather and polka-ing with him when I was 7. Whenever we go back, we're some of the people doing the polka. It's fun
