? About AP and the Fort

I am sure this has been asked before, but here goes. If I purchase the annual passes for Hubby and me, will I get any kind of discount on rates for a campsite? We are thinking of going the first two weeks of September this year and in 2007, about 6 to 8 families are planning to go in August. If my calculations are correct, the annual pass would be a savings and we would get 2 trips out of them.
Any info on this will be appreciated.

your AP does get you discounts on room/campsite rates as well as resturants, look at Mousesavers.com for a lot of information regarding discounts... you are going at the perfect time of the year.. The week after Labor Day is usually their slowest week, you will not have to wait in lines...

An AP provides a discount only on rare occasion any more, as Disney changed the way in which AP's can be used to secure a ressie. FW does not always have that discount available. We have both AP's and AAA and have been unable to obtain an AP discount for at least the last couple of trips. That being said, I WAS able to get a campsite for all 12 days of our upcoming trip in October using the AAA discount .....cheapest camping we've had in quite some time. Since they only offer "X" amount of campsites at a discounted rate, your best bet is to call and get a ressie ASAP.

They've changed it back to the old way again! A few weeks ago, they did away with the new "Best Rate" program and released just plain ol' AP rates through April! Woo-hoo!

Keep checking for AP rates for your dates. If they are going to be released for September, it will probably be early summer sometime.
