Anyone who is going during the FREE DINING time..............

are you finding that you are having a hard time getting your PS's?
I know about CRT...that i'll have to wake up EARLY EARLY EARLY for..lol...

but what about everything else??

thanks!!! :flower:

I think the more popular places are more of a problem. I had to take later times for Crystal Palace Breakfast and California Grill, but had no problem with Citrico's, Yachtsman's Steakhouse, Narcoossee's and Chef Mickey's. CRT is a problem no matter what, and I bet the princess breakfast at Akershus will be harder too. This is for the week of Aug 21st when it is the plan is first available.

We had no trouble getting any of our PS/ADRs. Then again,I called the very first thing each morning.

One of the CMs I spoke with said that she believed that the resort restaurants are more likely to be booked solid than the park restaurants, alot of people I guess will have the one day park pass and not the multi-day pass.
Any how, it is best to go on ahead and make PS/ADRs for those places you really want to go to.

We had no problem getting ours except CRT for dinner our first night there. It looks like we are going to eat at 1900 Park Fare instead. I'll keep checking for a cancellation for CRT.

I just called last night for Sept. 15th thru 21. Other than CRT dinner, everything was pretty wide open.

I was irritated that the day I really wanted CRT they said they had tables available, but not for 2 (they did have tables for 3 and 4). Apparently they won't do ASR for party of 2 if they think they might have to give you a table for 4! I think that is a bunch of $(%&*$. I had the same issue last year at CRT trying for breakfast, calling at 7:00 am exactly 90 days out - they said "no table for 2" implying they did have tables for larger parties.

I had no problem at all getting my PS requests for 10 nights. Sept. 4 to 14. Even got CRT table for 2. Only issue was LeCellier, had to take a 9:00 pm dinner. Can't complain at all! :)

With the map I have (dont know how to post) they have 4 tables of 2, I dont see any tables of 3... mostly its all tables of 4....

Good thing my dad doesnt want to come, only one table of 5!!!

My problem was picking which ones and when! I called last week for our trip Sept 3-12 and got the times and places I wanted within 10-20 min (this includes Le Cellier, CRT lunch, LTT, 'Ohana, Whispering Canyon, Narcoosee's, Chef Mickey, Primetime and Sci-Fi) I called three times (I had trouble deciding!) all around 4:30ish CST and didn't have to wait on hold for more than 3-5 min.

I'm ready to go now!!! ::MickeyMo

I'm just totally feeling the pressure of making the PS's for this trip. DH and I want to make it REALLY special for our DD since she'll be 3 and a BIG sister in just 4 weeks of us coming home...it's our last vacation till the baby comes and she can have us all to herself...

We always stay off site so dining really isnt an issue...and DH and I have never done character meals 'cept crystal palace...i'm just feeling STRESSED and i'm over planning...that's the only thing that will get me through the next 91 days

YES...tomorrow starts the PS calls for our trip Sept 24th-Oct. 2nd!!

I stressed over this for awhile, but now I have all my PS and I am ready for my August 29 - Sept 5 trip. My biggest issue was that I elected not to get the park hopper, since one park a day works for my family. We go in the morning, take an afternoon break, and go back in the evening. I scheduled 4 out of my 6 table service dinners outside of the park (including Hoop - de - Doo). My kids have no interest in character meals (being 10 & 12) so that was not an issue. I purposely scheduled one meal at the Boardwalk area (Cape May Cafe) and one meal at DTD (Planet Hollywood). I also scheduled Ohana's to hopefully catch the fireworks. The only meals I scheduled in the parks were San Angel Inn (this place looks so cool, I hope we like it) and Sci-Fi Dine Inn. I had to pick places that would cater to my kids very basic tastes. So, unfortunately, I'll have to eat at Boma's or Le Cellier when I go on a grown up trip.

We booked and phone about 5 days after the anouncement of the package. We got everything we wanted within 10 minutes of desired times. Includes CRT, CG, others, all for dinne

My TA just made all of our ADR's for Sept 16th - 24th. We had no problem getting any of our choices. We only had one ADR that was a little earlier than we wanted, but it's no big deal. Here's where we have ADR's for:
Sept. 16th Cap N' Jacks (they don't take ADR's, but we're not really sure if we want to go there or not...we may just do a counter service or Boatwright's at the resort)
Sept 17th Le Cellier 6:30
Sept 18th Rose and Crown 8:00
Sept 19th 50's Primetime Cafe 5:15
Sept 20th Cinderella's Royal Throne 5:35
Sept 21st Wolfgang Puck Cafe 9:30 (we wanted it that late)
Sept 22nd Crystal Palace breakfast 8:05
Sept 23rd Ohana 8:10

I'm in the middle of making mine, but thus far have gotten everything I wanted for the times I wanted except 10 minutes off at Chef Mickey's and 10 minutes off at 'Ohana. Obviously I'm okay with this ;)

Our AR's are so far as follows:

WCC @ 8:30 AM
Cape May @ 6:00 PM

1900 PF @ 9:00 AM
Le Cellier @ 7:30 PM

CM's @ 9:10 AM
LTT @ 12:30 PM
'Ohana @ 7:40 PM

These are for 9/21 - 9/23 and thus far, so far so good. We also have HDD for Friday night - still not sure what we're doing (DS's 4th birthday!) but had no trouble with that one either.

Hi! We got the free dining too, and now I am wondering...do I have to call every single day for my PS's as the 90 day window opens? I can start making ours June 28 for our Sept 27 trip :cool1: . Also, do I have to tell the CM that I have the dining plan, and would my TA have an easier job of getting my ressies that I would? I think it's fun to call myself, or at least it was last year, but that was my first trip and I was so excited! I still am :goodvibes .

I too am super stressed over this! I've been crunching numbers and reviewing dining choices like mad for the last few days, and it's all still a blur :flower: .

I just dont want to chance not getting what i want, i'll be calling every day...like i am now...i was up and said...what the hell, better get used to calling this early for CRT..lol....anyways, i'm sure that i'll get MOST of what i want...but what about ALL??????? ;)
