Ok me and my husband are thinking of getting 4 day tickets and visit one park per day. so we really don't need the park hopper right? Can you do this on a 4 day ticket, viist one differant park each day?
Thanks!

Sure can. But I would think about getting a 3-day and doing PH. Personally I don't think DAK takes all day. I guess it depends on if you have been before, and what time of year you are going.

we are going the first week of sep. wth three small kids age 1,3,5. and we though if it took less then a full day to get through a park we would have part of the day to spend at the resort swiming or relaxing. off to check the price differace of 3 w/ hopper vs 4 with out...

You may want to consider buying tickets through AAA if that is an option. I bought our 4 day park hopper tickets through AAA and they were cheaper than the 3 day non park hopper tickets through Disney.

If you don't have AAA, you can figure up your savings to see if it is worth the membership fee. You can also get AAA discount on your disney resort if they are available. If you are staying off site, there are several locations that offer AAA discounts on rooms.

Another perk with AAA is the AAA parking. You can get a voucher from your local AAA representative.

At the time I bought our tickets, AAA was only selling 4 day park hopper tickets and 5 day park hopper tickets.

I know my grandparents are AAA memebers, i wonder if they could order the tickets for us? We are staying at the new fairfield resort that is really "inside' disney but not on their property, it's on my other grandparents time share so our hotels taken care of...

They should be able to buy them for you. You'll want to make sure they have everyones name and age when they purchase them just in case they ask for it. I don't think my representative did. And, if they do, it isn't a problem as long as they have the information. Have them get you a AAA parking voucher too if you are going to have a car while you are there. Very handy to park in the AAA parking.

You are probably going to be rushing if you try to do a park, even Animal Kingdom, in half a day, and besides with just 3 days for four parks a second park will also get only half a day.

Hopping ($37.) costs more than just the fourth day ($14.).

thanks for the prices... i emailed my grandma she's calling to find out exact prices of a 4 day ticket from the AAA.

The AAA office in Oklahoma only sells 3 day, 5 day Hopper, but not the 4 day. I would like to know what AAA office sells the 4 day Hopper, I will just call it directly. Thanks

i'm waiting on my mousesavers newsletter to see how cheap i can get them through there, and wanted to compair to AAA!

well crap... grandma and gramdpa aren't members anymore... their memeber ship was up 4 months ago... off to ticket mania! :)

It should only cost about $50 for a year membership with AAA. All the free maps, tour guides, roadside assistance, and various other discounts make it worth it. I'm not sure how much of a discount they give on WDW tickets though. We bought our Universal tickets from AAA for a pretty good price, but I got a better discount through my employer for our Disney tickets (12% off the disney price)

I don't see the point of this. Tthis would mean you'd get 1 day each in 2 of the parks and only a half-day in the other two parks. And it would cost more than getting 4 day non-hoppers. Even if you only do 1/2 day at AK(which I personally don't suggest), you'd still get a full day at each of the other 3 parks by getting the 4 day non-hoppers.

Why pay more for less park time?

well found another family memeber that is AAA~! LOL So she's going to call and get tickett prices for me tomorrow! me and dh aren't going to spend the $ on our own membership b/c it's just pointless for use to spend $50 to save only prolly $20 on tickets... so i'll figure it out!!!

Above, i don't think she relized that the 4 day no hopper were less then the 3 day hopper...

I just checked AAA and they offer a 5 day park hopper that never expires. The price is $260 for adults and $224 for kids.

so is that standard??? do differant AAA offer differant tickets?? I though i read somewhere eles that they did...

The Disney Web site is selling Adult 5-day park hopper passes with no expiration for $256 + tax.

Does the $260 include tax?

I bought my 4 day park hopper tickets at the AAA office in Bloomington, IL. Their number is (309)663-6512. My understanding is that each AAA office is independently owned so there can be different offers.

One adult 4 day park hopper ticket was $221.25 (included tax). It made a bigger savings for us because we were buying 4 adult tickets. I bought them the last week of May, 2005. I think it was about $12.00 a ticket less. And at that time, I didn't find any other discounts.

The membership fee was worth it for me because I was also using the membership to get discounts at Universal Studios at the same time. I also got maps and a Florida hotel guide free, not to mention the parking voucher and a little peace of mind with the road side assistance. But, we drive down so that is a big one for me.
