Hi! We're toying with the idea of bringing my daughter's friend to WDW with us next week. We have ADRs each day of the trip. We would be going from a party of 3 to 4. I've already tried modifying our reservations, no luck, (I'll keep trying tho). Earlier in the pandemmy people reported the ability to "add a guest" when they were checking into their dining reservation. Has anyone seen that recently? I know traffic has changed, but I'm hopeful?

When you check-in to your reservation on the app you have the ability to add one additional member to your party. Should not be an issue, we just did it last night at The Plaza (4 to 5) with no issues.

Not every ADR offers the option. I think it very much depends on the restaurant’s capacity when you check in. We had a trip in April & another in June. Most of the online check ins offered it. But a few did not. I specifically remember Beaches & Cream at dinner did not. So it is hit or miss.

Disney doesn't have to honor if you show up at check-in and request, but I would think going from 3 to 4 people shouldn't be a major issue. You would be seated at the same size table regardless.
