ABD with Adults

Is ABD appropriate for families with adults or is it better suited for families with young children?

I'm an Adult, and I travel solo, and ABD is totally appropriate for this Adult! 3 out of the 4 trips I've done have been Adults Only trips, but my Mediterranean ABD had several families with kids (ranging from 4 to early 20's). I never felt out of place. In my opinion, ABD is appropriate for any age!
