ABD provided transportation to airport?

Hi,
Can anyone discuss their experience with Adventures by Disney airport transportation? When they tell you not to book a flight before a certain time, in my case, 11AM does that mean they will have you to the airport in time to catch a 11:30 fllight or should we allow some more time? We are going on the Southwest Splendors tour and I am trying to figure the best time to schedule a flight out of Grand Junction, Colorado. Thanks for your help!

ABD does provide transportation to the airport for your return home. They do not provide transportation to any other destination, should you decide to continue your travel.

When we visited Italy, one of the ABD guides escorted groups of people to the airport at various times. We had booked our air through ABD and were part of a larger group all traveling at similar times.

One couple in our party had a flight which left at 4:30 or 5:00am and they made sure that this couple was at the airport. I do not know if they booked through ABD or on their own.

Will they take you to the train station? Our tour ends Italy, but we need to have transportation to the train station out of Venice. Also, we will be arriving in Rome via Train, but were told they won't pick us up there. Any thoughts on this? Thanks!!

I dont know about the train station. You'd have to call ABD or your travel agent.

I'm flying to Barcelona after my London/Paris ABD and they told me they would take me to the airport for my flight. If I recall they said they would transfer you to the train station if necessary. Hope this helps.

We're booked on the Southwest Splendors tour too. Our departing flight from Grand Junction is scheduled for 11:45 am, so I hope they drop us off at the airport with enough time for check-in & security etc....

They are very aware of your departure times if you have booked your air through ABD. You will need to provide them with your air itinerary if you have booked on your own.

In our case (as well as others who have described their experiences), one of the ABD guides accompanied groups (grouped by departure times) to the airport. Once you had gotten out of the bus / taxi / boat (for those in Venice) / cab and had retrieved your luggage you were on your own.

Wanted to pass along a hint for anyone who does not often book airfares flying into one city and out of another (like me! ) Be sure to check fares for multiple destinations as opposed to just one ways. Doing that on Continental's website I was able to save over $500 on our combined airfares. And it beat the quote from ABD by even more!

Thanks.. I forgot about continental. I was originally planning on flying out of Toronto, but can get a flight out of Buffalo to London for 200 dollars cheaper. Sounds great, but then I remembered the price was in US dollars! After the conversion, the price wasn't worth the travel time to Buffalo!

When we were in Paris they arranged for all transportation to the airport. They told us the night b4 what time to be out in front of hotel and all transportation was arranged to be at the airport in time for the various flights.

Hey ppiew ... If my flight out of Paris isn't until 2:30 in the afternoon, what time will they take me to the airport? They aren't going to make me spend the day there if everyone else's flight leaves earlier are they??? Did they stagger the departure times on your tour or did everyone leave at the same time?
