I am actively looking for a Feb roommate. I sent the Lindsay-background email to Nicole (princessbride6205) as she was the first to express interest in my passable roommate/grammar skills. I realize I'm a little sketch with my paltry 20-something posts. Us lurkers don't have too much board-cred.

Anyways, if Nicole passes up the awesome opportunity to room with me, I will definitely be in the market for a February roomie. And I'd prefer a female one (sorry Mike!)

If anyone else is potentially interested in bunking up, just PM me, and I will send a link to my facebook page. I don't have much history on the boards, and I don't want anyone to feel they'd be going into a rooming situation blind-folded.

February is looking more and more likely for me (a few last things to check). In that case, I'll be rooming with Lindsay (planaholic) - if I haven't freaked her out with my bio in private message.

Mike - if for some reason I can't do the Feb trip, but can do April, I would room with you! Actually, knowing you're gay would make rooming with a guy a much easier sell with my DH!

Mike, I don't know about you, but I'm feeling like a bit of a celebrity. I never thought I'd have so many ladies waiting to be my roommate! Apparently, my facebook profile doesn't scare people off. Well, I for one hope we all make it on the February trip - I can't wait to meet everybody!

Ps - Just the fact so many people spelled my name correctly has made my day. I have managers who still can't manage to spell my name. Thanks!

of course...my inner (err, outer) control freak likes to have things all planned out (otherwise i wouldn't be a very good planaholic, now would i?)

however, i have enough other things hanging over my head at the moment...like making sure the akl savannah-view room i booked for october will enable me to see giraffes out the window. if there are no giraffes, i want out!

also, i'm thinking about how i will maintain an engaged, appreciative expression on my face tomorrow evening when i have to attend a mantatory la nouba performance for work. who wants to watch scary clowns anyways?

Lindsay glad to see you can appreciate it! I do like to have my ducks in a row. But I have faith it will all come together in the next day or two.

AKL with savanna view...we stayed there this past March and LOVED it. It was our first time at AKL. We had about 3-4 giraffes everyday outside our balcony. I wonder if there are giraffe's on every savanna? I can tell you our room overlooked the Uzima Savanna. If it helps to request that savanna you might try.

We took Miranda to see La Nouba about two years ago and we all really enjoyed it. Hopefully you will like it. Don't listen to Pete...not all those clowns are scary.

Lindsay - We just bought into AKV - we stayed there savanna-view in January and it was amazing! (We had stayed at AKL before, but this was the best experience yet.) I'd suggest looking at the resort map and making a request for a certain savanna. The Arusha or Sunset have had the best giraffe views for us. I'm not sure about Uzima (though I know stitchlover just recommended it!) - we only had a view of that once and our particular room was a view of a fence and a warthog.

It's Friday here already!! I can't wait for your decision, Nicole...I hope we all will get to meet up on the feb trip!

As for my AKL reservation, my uncle (long time cast member) made it for me with his guest room discount. It took a few weeks to sort out, and I don't want to bother him anymore to request a specific room!

Another side note, I just checked into the Downtown Disney Hilton for work, only find a copy of the park hours schedule in my room. Thanks, Hilton, for reminding me I have to head to the office in the morning. : (
