ABD Dis Board Hollywood solo Traveler Thread

If your going or planning on going to next years ABD Hollywood trip solo and looking for a room mate post here.Not sure what I am doing yet and will need a room mate if I go.Need to figure out if I want to break a promise for this.

I'm looking at April, 2nd choice Feb. Not 100% sure I can go yet, but if I can, I'd want a roomie.

I am in the middle fo check to see if I can take off work then...but is there anybody in need of a roomie for the Feb trip?

Also - how does the co-roomingwork with the dreams booking? Does one of us put everything on our credit card and seek personal reimbursment from the roommate? Or can it be split between 2 credit cards? I know this is a dreams questions - but i didn't know if anyone here on the boards had bunked up before. I'd be cool with paying the single supplement if my roomie backed out...but i wouldn't want to pay for a full phantom person! : )

Each person would have their credit card charged for the deposit and their half of the double rate.

We would approach this as two reservations within one reservation.

You would share a room, a reservation number and a password to access the reservation on the Dreams Unlimited Travel site.

Should one of the room mates back out, for whatever reason, the remaining Adventurer would be responsible for the single supplement....not the balance of the second person.

PS - Rereading my post made me cringe with all my typos. To any potential roomies out there, I promise I am capable of writing full, grammatically correct sentences - if that is a quality you are looking for in a roommate

I've made the decision that I would like to go on one of these trips. I'd prefer the February trip, but the April trip is ok as well. If you're looking for a room mate to share a room on one of these tours, please let me know. Thanks!

Proper grammar is one of the items on my potential roommate checklist.

Whew...I'm glad I posted that clarification! Imagine if I ended up having to pay the single supplement (or worse - not going!) because I didn't take the time to proofread!

Let me know if you can go -- I'm still waiting to hear my my higher ups about the time off

I hope you get a roommate so we can properly welcome you on the February trip. We may be a small group right now but we are mighty.
