ABD Costa Rica

Has anyone done an ABD trip? My husband is very reluctant to go back to WDW but I have frequent flyer pints burning a hole in my pocket. The price is not too bad for Costa Rica and there is one that fits into the Sept school holidays (or near enough ). We have never taken an organised tour, preferring to sort out things ourselves. . Is it lame? Fabulous? Something else ? Any feedback would be welcome

I have no advice for doing an ABD experience but I wanted to say I think Costa Rica would be so interesting and anything Disney do is great so you can't possibly go wrong.

Austraveller, like you, we have always organised our own travel. However, I think an ABD would be great fun. I've looked at a couple of different ones in the past and really like the type of activities they incorporate for children. Costa Rica? Yes please!

My dream is the Egypt one, one day. Have read a few TR on the ABD disboard section and they all seem to have a great time and lots of useful info as always. My thoughts were they'd be better than some other co's judging by feedback.
