ABD BSM-July 25 Trip; How close are we to 30?

Hope it's OK to start a new thread about this, but the two of us are wondering how many people are on the wait list.

From reading the other thread, we have counted about 12 people, but we are not sure. We were wondering how close we are to the thirty. Who else is on board, and how many people are in your party?

We are on pins, needles, eggshells, heffalumps, woozles, and dinglehoppers waiting to hear if this trip is a go!

I was wondering this aswell. I haven't signed up yet as I'm still trying to find someone to look after my office while I'm away. I'm not having much luck so far but I'm nervous that I will miss out if it takes much longer.

I sooooo want to go but we can't afford for the entire family to go. I would need a roommate but then I would feel guilty spending that much money on myself. So I'm afraid I'm going to have to pass.

Come on everybody...help make a poor Disney fan's dream come true...and all for the low, low price of $2K a person.

I'm also glad that I won't be the only single traveler. This will be my first solo trip...so kind of nervous.

I already chimed in on the other thread, but I'm going, and I'm going solo too! Also wondering how close we are - if this is going to happen (and I really hope it is, especially after hearing Club 33 was confirmed!), then arrangements need to be made for kids, pets, airfare, etc, etc..... Wheeee!

I think I'm definitely not going now and I'm so disappointed. I just can't get anyone to take care of my office while I'm away. The person I was hoping for has just taken part time work elsewhere so she is not an option anymore. I have no one else to ask and can't close while I'm away. So unless a miracle happens, I'm staying here.

I'm dying to go, but still trying to figure out what organs or arms and legs to auction off in order to swing the cost of the trip for my hubby and I, with the trip and airfare. He's still giving me that look... I keep mentioning it's a once in a lifetime opportunity, or very very nearly so. I guess we all need a little lottery winning to make the trip.

Our credit card took the hit today. Those five fastpasses sealed the deal. We have not visited DLR since March, anyhow. For those signed up, you are 2 closer to making the trip.

I really hope you all make the head count required, we were on the first ABD Unplugged trip and had the time of our lives!

DW and I would do this trip again if it were not so close to our last time.

No one's credit card has been charged yet. I think they meant to say they submitted their CC info.

We are not close to 30 yet - Pete will mention it on the show today but he is not ready to talk numbers yet. We have some people on the fence and once we know for sure who is in we will let people know how close we are.

I know several people are waiting to know for sure if the trip is a go or not before they even sign-up and that means we don't have a definitive count.

So if you want to go on this trip you need to get the word out to others. Post about it on the ABD board, or any other board you frequent. Let your friends on Facebook know - let your family know - see if you can get others to sign up so we can reach the amount we need to make this trip happen!!

Is it possible to get a no-obligation quote from Dreams that includes the cost of the airfare so we'd know for sure exactly how much it would cost? I'm still hoping for a lottery win, but since that isn't happening and my sweet hubby isn't jumping for joy at the idea, I figured it might be a good idea to know exactly where we'd stand...other than the meals on our own and shopping and such, of course.

I'm still obsessed with going, however unrealistic a goal that might be...

Well I'm out I got the call today that they needed me for summer school. I was almost kind of hoping they wouldn't so that I could feel justified spending the money. But now that I have the opportunity to get a couple of paychecks over the summer, I have to do it. It doesn't start until July 12 - I wish there was a very early July trip to go!!!!! Then I'd be all over it! Have a blast if it works out - I'm def going to go at some point
