ABD Backstage Magic - Summer 2010 Edition!

Hi all -

I just remembered - our bags from the goodie box had a very strong odor - would highly recommend you air them out. I did not and was not able to use it during the trip.

Let's see if anyone else wants to join us and then I'll call for priority seating tomorrow afternoon sometime. I don't know if there is a certain timeframe that we'll need to eat to "qualify" for the dinner package. Would you rather eat earlier or later? I'm open to either.

Paul and I would like to join you! I wonder whether it would be better to go earlier or later to avoid missing out on any group thing the guides might set up? Anybody know the answer to that one? We're open to either time, but we don't want to miss out on anything.

As far as where to watch, I think we'd rather not get wet or roast. I don't know if you get to pick that with your dining ressie or when you're there. So many questions!

Got my goodies today and trying to decide if I will use ABD stuff or my stuff. Hopefully, I can decide before the adventure begins. Ready for the magic and spoiling that I know ABD will provide.

Please add me to the list of people interested in the WOC dinner! I'd prefer Ariels' Grotto from the reviews I've read, but will do whatever the group consensus is - just want to be part of it! We are away from home, so I'm hoping my box of goodies arrived safely - won't see it for at least a week!

Nothing to scare you - just seem to have a strong chemical smell. I aired mine out in my garage for a couple of weeks and it is a lot better

We're booked for the WOC dining package at Ariel's Grotto. We have at 7:20 reservation for 9 adults (under my name: Christy Nasworthy). We'll receive our WOC tickets after the meal. I asked about location (avoiding the heat and water) and was told that we would be able to pick our spot. He suggested we get there at 10:00 to get a good spot for the 10:15 show. I would think earlier but we can play it by ear.

I did not receive any type of confirmation number. Is that normal for Disneyland dining? I'm so used to WDW and having multiple confirmation numbers to keep up with...

Your FastPass will actually tell you when and where to line up. When we did the dining package for the 10:15 show, we were instructed to line up in front of the Wine Country Trattoria between 9 and 9:30. We got there a few minutes before 9 and the line had already started.

I can't tell you how much fun Mickey's of Glendale was! The prices were EXTREMELY reasonable, which made it that much nicer! I also very much enjoyed shopping at Club 33, so leave room in the suitcase and on the credit card!

We especially liked the pins (right, John and Kat?), terrific shirts, sweatshirts and jackets, coffee mugs, etc.

You can relax - ABD really does have everything under control and will take great care of you

MOG was the best for price, and Club 33 was the most expensive!
Advice for those on a budget, take the money you have divide it by 4 and that will get you through MOG, the cast member store and Club 33 and 1/4 for extras else where. Then if you don't spend all that was alotted in the store you have more spending money to add to your other alottments.

No Tom we have tp save our cruise needs to get paid off in the next 2 months! Besides I was hoping he would surprize me with this trip for my birthday! I can still dream!!!
