ABC's Wife Swapping

No I think this might be interesting. I mean a working mom with a 10yo and an 8yo becomes a SAHM with a 1yo and 2yo. Or twins...?

I am not sure about the rules..it might confuse the kids completely. But if the other person just has to live by the first persons rules..it might give us an idea of what the other goes through!

I just remember the thread about working moms feeling guilty and I was thinking..I have no concept of what that might be like because I am always at home.

And from some of the other posts it got me realizing that some people had no idea what I did all day. It would be a good learning expierence.

Now, if I remember, I might watch just to see what it is all about.

Is this the show that was advertised a few months ago where they switch moms to see how they deal in each other's lives. You know, a messy mom and a SUPER organized mom switch to see how they can handle each other's worlds and how the family reacts to a totally different lifestyle. I thought it sounded interesting, but it may not be the same show...

LOL! I can think of a friend who's little girl would dread me! And I would dread going back to my kids if she had them for a week!

She just gives in to the tantrums and I let them cry. LOL..boy would our kids be in for a shock!

Well, I hate to mention it, but I just watched this show while I was in Australia LOL.... they tape it in England... I don't know how long it's been on, but DH & I were sort of shocked when we found it on TV LOL.... I wonder if ABC's show will be American's, or just re-runs from England? No idea, but I find it funny that we took another show from England (After all, coupling didn't last long...)

As for ABC being owned by Disney, I think that is irrelevant. They're just keeping up with what the public wants.

I've only ever seen the adverts for it on the TV. I'd prefer to watch paint dry than be subjected to watching such drivel!

I think when people saw the title of the show they jumped to conclusions....
SOunds funny to me!
Maybe they should have called it something like
"domestic switch" or "Mom Swap"...
Oh well....

I'm not surprised. I think that Walt would be rolling around in his grave if he knew what the company that bears his name is doing.

NBC does who wants to Marry My Dad, ABC does the Bachelor.

I really hope they consider the very young children. Now, I can certainly leave my two year old with a babysitter that she knows, but if I just left her with a complete stranger for 10 days who would change everything about her world, she would be traumatized.

What a stupid idea for a show.
