ABCs of Trip Reporting, Pt. 2-Life Can Be Crappy and Then You Move On (3/7)

OK...I miss one day and you start a new thread that's on page 12 already??? :scared1: Wow...that is impressive. Now I'll go and do some reading. :rotfl2:

yeah, sorry about that... seemed like there were a couple of folks that needed a directional- hope they come back around often; new posters are like crack!!

Great update! It stinks that they got rid of the free tour. I never even heard of that before. :confused3

I think it is funny that your FAVORITE group couldn't sing the Aribic part of the song. You should of hopped up there and sang backup for them! At least they played your request!

Looks like the CMs were having a little too much fun... you don't have moves like these?

You'd be happy to know that I ate cabbage yesterday. I don't go looking for it but it does find me from time to time... and I do like cole slaw. ::yes:: ;)

I'm still around, I promise. :goodvibes

Every since Tyler's car accident last weekend and with him being home from college (spring break here in Texas) I've been a bit busy, not to mention my daughter not doing school this week, my training with the trainer (deep breath)....I've been a busy girl! I even managed to get most of my flowers bought and part of them planted. :yay:

But then, you (Liesa)know all of this. Not everyone else does so I wanted to be sure to let them know I didn't abandon them, and am still here and I miss y'all :lovestruc

Holy cow! This working out and working with a trainer is beating my big butt into one tired girl!! Most nights I'm so tired I can hardly see straight! I get a chance to read, but not much left in me to answer.

Sorry. :guilty:

I'm thrilled for my trip coming up and I'm looking forward to everyone hearing about our ventures together. :goodvibes

this is my life. 13 pages on the new thread and I just find it now.

ARRGH!

Someday I'll get caught up.

Probably not. LOL

I know! I need to go back and find where I had read about it- it was either here or on allears and tell them what I found. Nothing more disappointing than looking forward and having it not available. It's kind of like desserts at restaurants. And who knows, it could have been that I had only been talking to CMs who didn't know what they were talking about, too. I wonder how often they just get lazy and blow guests off. :confused3

Well, it wasn't that they couldnt' sing the Arabic, it was more that they didn't have the guy who could sing that high? or low? I dunno, I think I got my fill of stardom at DHS the day before. ;):lmao:

And hearing my familiar song WAS nice!

Looks like the CMs were having a little too much fun... you don't have moves like these?

I DO have the moves. Silly! I danced like that all the time in Crapistan.

You'd be happy to know that I ate cabbage yesterday. I don't go looking for it but it does find me from time

So... how ya feeling TODAY?! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I know you're super busy and you have lots going on. No need to apologize!! I am so super excited that you're still working hard at your goals and that you are on your way to a healthier you! Great to talk last night.

So I'm a little behind...but I'm here again!!

Yippee!! YOu made it over!!! Great to see you!

this is my life. 13 pages on the new thread and I just find it now.

ARRGH!

Someday I'll get caught up.

Probably not. LOL

I was wondering where the heck you ran off to. Tried to call last night to catch up with you, but I guess you had some Friday night fun stuff going on :)

Thank you for your encouraging words. It's always great to talk with you! I also appreciate your checking on me to make sure I'm keeping on task! :thumbsup2
You have no idea how much it helps to have someone you can trust willing to hold you accountable. My trust issues aren't where they need to be, so this has helped me to branch out, I now attend a weight loss group once a week as well. :scared: That's majorly stepping out of the comfort zone, for me anyway!

It's actually my friend Sharon's group, the one I told you about who was on the A&E show, HEAVY. She's now down 144 lb. and still plugging away at it!! :cheer2: I'm so proud of her! If she can get out of bed everyday and still make her world go round after what she's been through with the loss of her son and take off all that weight....I'm totally without excuses. :guilty:

She inspires me, greatly. I'm also inspired to get to Disney in 2013 and tour without being in pain! :woohoo:
With your support and the support of the few I've let in with the support group, I know I can do this!!

I sure hope your class comes through!! Crossing fingers and praying!!

Hi Camillie! Nice to see you here. So proud of your hard work! :thumbsup2

Hi Liesa! Sorry I missed your call - I was working. Today was busy, when i had some down time, I realized it was probably dinner time for you guys, and then we had a date night. I will try to call you later tomorrow! We are getting so close to our meet! I heard you met someone - hmmm, can't wait to hear about that ! I'm off to bed - trying not to oversleep for the early service tomorrow!:goodvibes

Great update. I also Love the Morocco Pavilion. Although i have never been, it seems so authentic.:lovestruc
When we were there, they also broke out into song and dance. I hope that is spontaneous and that they are just a joyful people. It does seem so, because it seems as if you "just come upon it" not rehearsed.
That time the girls were working and the boys were playing some instruments and singing and just dancing around. They seemed so happy. It was awesome!:thumbsup2

I have also had a bad experience with a girl working there. ONe of the other male CM's saw it, and took me aside, cheered me up, wrote all my kids names in their native language on some beautiful paper. :)

Do tell, All! What would you buy if you could buy up props, hardscaping or such????

I'd want a Sci Fi car for my dining room. And maybe the Swiss Family Treehouse in the backyard for my boys to play in.

So strange no one could sing the Mo'Rockin song. I wonder why they wouldn't just play it in a key one of them could sing it in. :confused3 Although, I bet they don't get many requests.

That letter from George Washington is so cool! I've never seen it before. Looks like I need to spend some more time exploring Morocco.

That's what friends and "family" are for... right?!

I'll find out a week from now on that class! Sure hoping it comes through.

We'll catch each other soon- still a bit to plan and talk about. :goodvibes

I cleaned ALL day yesterday and made a superb meal (if I do say so myself) of roast pork stuffed with a pecan-sausage stuffing, paired with a sherry dijon mustard sauce; green beans with apricots and almonds; and the mushroom risotto from Le Cellier. OMG!! It was OUT OF THIS world fabulous!!
All that to say, no time to chat yesterday.

I did, I did!!! I met up with TONI on Friday morning, and we yacked it up for over 2 hours! It was so fun to finally meet her- I know you're going to love her. And.... Terri (her DH) wants to wine tour with us!! YEAH! One more for our Saturday excursion!

OH nice choice!! A Sci-Fi car was add some super fun-ness to every meal time! And I can't believe I didnt' think of the Treehouse! I'm not sure I'd even let my kids in it- I'd hog it all to myself!

Yeah, that's what I was thinking... ummm... there's like 30 other keys they could do it in....:confused3 and no, I'm sure they get a request about once a month- tops! :lmao:

There's a lot to see there- and all kinds of those hidden little finds everywhere. I'd have never known about it had I not read it on allears. The museum is sure worth going in as well.

That's what I thought. They must do that every once in a while to add some flavor to the area. I sure enjoyed that I caught it!! And you're right, it does seem as if they are just "happy" people!

Glad the other CM came to your rescue after a not-so- happy experience. And I hope she was set straight on proper guest interaction as well! Un-magical CMs stink!

Friday brought yet another FABULOUS (it was, right Toni?) DISMeet for me!

oregonmommyof2 and I met at our local Starbucks for a cup of coffee and over 2 hours of get-to-know-ya coversation. You never know when meeting someone new if it's going to be wierd or uncomfortable, but at least on my end it never was!! Ha! She probably went home and almost told Terri what an oddball I am, but likely was distracted by the BIG, gigantic move later that day; in fact, she left directly from our Meet to pick up the Budget truck.

THANKS, Toni for the latte and a great morning!!

I'm sure she thought it was great too. What's not to love when it comes to you and your zany, fun loving ways. :goodvibes

i have a cousin (who is a guy) who can roll his stomach like a belly dancer without moving any other part of his body, it is hilarious and can get our anyone who watches it in tears from laughing so hard.

i actually agree with marv, it is a little weird to wath a woman do that.

now the hawaiin version of belly dancing is much better.
:thumbsup2

Finally! Caught up. :thumbsup2

Wow, where do I start? Flaming outhouses, flatulence inducing vegetables....
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Great updates Leisa and Mary.

Add me to the pro cabbage, I also like brussel sprouts and brocolli . :goodvibes

Leisa congrats on deciding to further your education, not easy but well worth it.

Just wanted to say that in just over two weeks I will be on my way to Disney for the first of three trips that I have planned for this year. :woohoo:
I'm soooo excited, can you tell?

Toni is a great conversationalist!! It was really, really fun to get to know her better, and we plan to get together one more time before the 1st.

Recipe for the rice is on allears- I can give you the roast pork one when you get here. Time intensive, but well worth it! :thumbsup2

As for zany....

:dance3:

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwww!! Where's that puking smilie?

I can't see Candi doing that. Ever. So, it's a good thing you don't have to worry. :lmao:

Free drinks or not at the Luau, I'd imagine she's a big draw. ;)

Finally! Caught up. :thumbsup2

We cover topics to please everyone. :rotfl2:

Just picked up my math book....

GET THIS!! THe very first book I picked up in the used stacks was misbound UPSIDEDOWN!!!!! Never hurts to ask, so I promptly took it to the manager, and asked if she was inclined to give me a discount. GUESS WHAT??!! She took off 50% !!!:banana::banana: So instead of being reamed for $82.50, I was only robbed of $41.25!! :woohoo::woohoo:

I'm so excited for your trips too!!! As I tell everyone, please PM when/if you start a TR. More often than not, pages and pages go by and I don't even see them!!
