I got my replacement paper so I'm going to cut tonight and mail tomorrow.

And can I just say that the changes they were making to the ACMoore aisle are fabulous!!!! And some of the new papers are gorgeous! They are carrying Cosmo Cricket, which I just adore!! Definitely more high end LSS type papers, oh and Bazzill too! I can't wait to see what it looks like when it's finished.

That's good to hear about AC Moore. Lately I've felt like it's been a bad boyfriend that I just can't break up with. The store has been in disarray for what feels like months now, and I should just stop going there because they never have what I need and it makes me frustrated to walk around. But I keep going because I'm insanely loyal and I keep waiting for the day that things will turn around and everything will be nice and neat. Sounds like maybe that day will be soon! Last time I was in they had the new paper trays. They were empty, but they were there.

About 3/4 of the trays were full. It looked like they were waiting on a new shipment of 8.5 x 11 sheets. Our store is still a bit of a mess but they are getting there. I also avoided them for a while, which killed me but 4 kids + a messy store = disaster. Plus I don't think they know where to put the clearance stuff, there simply isn't anymore room. They also took over one side of the kids crafts section for organizational stuff, i.e. cropper hoppers and totes. The worst aisle was the stamps, it looked like that was going to be the last aisle done.


One word of warning though, the paper on the very top row of the racks is hard to pull out if you are vertically challenged (Short LOL) I scrapped the paper a bit taking it out, so up on the tip toes I went. But you can see everything!!! And that I love!

I don't think Joy ever posted them, not sure though. I would not bag each one up individually. Just put it in a big ziploc with your DIS name on it. And then send in the return postage. I think she was having everyone mail to work too. I don't have the addy (deleted it by accident), but I bet Nancy does.

I'm home working today because my car is in the shop most of the day. So, I'm mostly working this morning on this swap...LOL!! I just need to cut and adhere the stuff since I already had things printed out, etc.

Just one question, without going through all the posts: Is it necessary to put the theme of the card (ie: Grim Grinning Ghosts) on the cards. I don't remember if people are doing that. It will be obvious from my design what it is!

Karen - if you mean use the words "Grim Grinning Ghosts" somewhere on the cards, I don't think so. Most pictures I've seen (and my cards) just have the theme be obvious.

Karen, I don't think you need to put the theme on... just the letter for the divider should be sufficient...


I was down stairs working on the 4-H album for dd's club cut out little people to add to a page...cut out their shorts..and couldn't find them..when I was ready to dress the little guy.. what is it with men and not wanting to stay clothed??? eeek! As I type DS6 is streaking through trying to find his swim trunks which are right on his bed where I put them! BOYS!

I wouldn't worry about it! You're not the only one who has said theirs is on the wrong side.

As for theme...mine look like the inside of an aquarium for "U" - Under the Sea. I hope that's obvious enough. After all I've been through with these, I'm not starting over!

And I have no clue why I chose to do this!! (Other than I signed up late & there were only a few letters left. ) I can't begin to pick up the majority of pieces for mine without the surgical tweezers! Even the MM tweezers are too big!
