I'm going to blame my lack of alphabetical knowledge on COVID.... and greatly appreciate you not calling me out on it.![]()
TBH, after looking back, I'm not sure if your "WOW" reaction was about the photo of the fact that I thought the alphabet went ...LMNM...
I'll do O... for Old Fashioned

Next is P... (I double checked with my 10yo)
lolL, M, N, M, O.... sounds good.
:
My "wow" was for your photo! Did you get stopped there? Do you have a really good camera? I can't get anything close to that on a dark ride and Dinosaur is so jerky.
Funny you should mention Covid.... After all the years of pandemic problems and 5! vaccines! I finally got Covid at a funeral on June 11th. Half the people who went to the service at our little country church, got it. Sounds like everyone is going to be fine but some of the people were pretty old and got it pretty bad.
I got a mild case, like a head cold but I can't seem to shake it completely, as you can seeJust a little tire and my attention to detail a little fuzzy.

Sorry to hear about the Covid but it seems pretty much inevitable given what I've seen and heard BUT try convincing DH he won't die if he gets it!!! We're all fully vaccinated and boosted but he still wants to isolate!
Nope, we weren't stopped... I was actually impressed when I saw the results, I snapped quite a few shots off on the ride and most didn't turn out due to the jerkiness and dark, but I guess because the car is moving pretty straight right here, I managed to pull of a sharp shot (I don't remember which attempt this was, it is my youngest's FAVORITE ride, so we typically ride at least 4+ times).
I won't take all the credit, it is a really good camera, even at almost 7 years old, the Sony A7Rii has awesome low-light/high-iso capabilities, so being able to produce clean ISO-25600 shots helped tremendously.
As for COVID, my family too, has managed to avoid it since the onset of the pandemic, even with me working in a customer facing role until Feb of this year and my wife working in a doctors office in a place where over half the population thinks it's a hoax.... so we've been pretty lucky, until we gave in and had our first normal vacation since COVID last week. We managed to all bring it back home. I seem to have taken the brunt of it, going on 6 days of 100+ fevers, back/leg pain, headaches, congestion, sore throat, brain fog, etc. On top of that, when I started taking Paxlovid because my symptoms seemed to be worsening when everyone else's were gone in a couple days, I developed side-effects to that.... so now I have an awful bitter taste in my mouth for about 8 hours after I take the medicine (twice a day) and my lymph nodes are painfully swollen. Surprisingly, I'm not as tired as everyone else was... I get easily winded, but feel like I have a ton of pent up energy... making it hard to really rest like I should.
Here's to hoping this is my first and only time catching it... I'm only at 3 vaccines, but at this point... I'll take as many as I can to avoid feeling like this again.
