Anyone watch the announcement tonight that Micheal Eisner will no longer Be CEO of Disney? A man named Mr. Iger is taking over. Maybe we should call him for a code?

Iger is Disney's President and COO. He'll be taking over in September and they're still paying Eisner through September 2006, since that's when his contract runs out. Don't expect many changes for the good - he's been under Eisner's thumb for awhile. Personally, I think Disney needed to find someone outside of the company who is excited, not disillusioned because he's been beaten down by Eisner. Who knows, though, maybe he'll surprise us.
