Thanks - got you in for letter C. That should be a fun letter to do - we love to bake cookies together at home. It's the only time I can get my boys to help in the kitchen.

DS only comes into the kitchen when he can smell them! He used to love helping me bake...then he discovered vidoe games and girls!

I asked about the time because my son asked me. He had the stamp out and was asking me about where you live and how far it is and such. Told him we would try Google Earth when the laptop gets back from the repair shop.

Yeah...we are just getting started with the girls. They have been together since September...pretty long for their age I guess. They are only Freshmen, so we are taking baby steps. We have a very open line of communication with them and her parents. I talk to her a lot myself. I want to know her. She is a nice girl, I just feel like he is not spending nearly as much time with his friends as he used to. But, controlling....that's hard to watch as a parent. There is only so much you can get involved before they get mad. Every step in life is a new challenge!! I want things easy!

Ummmm...I do have another letter picked out for when or if we have to add another. But, I don't want to take something that someone else might want when initially signing up. I just wanted to make sure I knew what you wanted from us. If you think there won't be many others signing up after today and want additional requests earlier, let me know!

My DS is 16 and is terrified whenever I even approach the subject of girls. He is totally outgoing about everything else, but girls scare him. Wish I could make it easier for him. It's so hard to watch.

My girls too! Neither one of them has been on a date yet. DH and I told them they had to wait until they were 16 (Rachel's almost there) and now they are too busy to date

Soooo true! You never know what life is going to bring! DH's oldest (but younger than him) sister was killed in a car accident almost 6 years ago. She was 23. So hard! It's still tough and now his other sister (now 25 years old) is having major health issues. My in-laws are a mess!
