Do you and Megan celebrate Halloween? Just a question, not asking for any specific reason

Also, Will talk to you about Disney 2013 when you return. (I have a an absolutely positively definitely maybe from DH ) Still working my magic, but I think it will be a go! Can you IMAGINE? How many others can we talk into joining us? It will be a blast!!!

SO........Who wants to do Disney with us in 2013? There's two years to plan, save and plan some more. That should be plenty of time for us to get our acts together and be able to spend some time bonding in our favorite place. I did, however, promise him I wouldn't smuggle scrapbooking supplies into our luggage if we do go.

Hope you can make it to the NYC Disney Store while you are in the city. We were there last fall and it is AMAZING . Wanted to take the entire place home with me.

how do you fit scrapbook stuff in your luggage I barely have room for my other stuff

we are definately doing the Disney Store....Saturday when BAMB, PinballFamily and bearbear come to meet us! and DIS meet in the DIS store I'm sure we will be bringing back a little part of the store with us

As for the trip and DH and I planning. Well, I guess it is a good sign we are planning for the future. We are committed to making this work and are trying to build a solid foundation that will allow us to rebuild. I'm very hopeful.

And as for the scrapbook stuff in luggage.......I think he was thinking we were gonna get down there and spend days on end scrapping in our rooms. His vision was of 6 extra suitcases full of stuff and all those extra baggage fees Silly boy. I told him we would be AT DISNEY, not scrapping Disney.

I think a thread would be perfect. You want to start it and I will join in on the fun?

no you scrap Disney for 6 months after you get home

I can definately start a thread after we get back....you don't think its too early do you it would give us all lots of time to start saving and planning

Well, was looking for a little something to say thanks for taking over the swaps and when I got home, my husband said "are you sure they celebrate Halloween?" I forget that it's not a holiday that everyone participates in. Look for some goodies in the box that will be heading your way. I'm so glad you will be able to use them, especially since you are going to the party. It really is my favorite event at WDW.

My 2 big selling points with him were that
1: there will be a new resort to visit. Can't wait to see Art of Animation Resort.
and
2. The Fantasyland expansion should be done by then. Can't wait for that one either!

Lisa will be working on posting a thread when she returns from vacation. I know 2013 seems like a long time off, but it will give any of us who hope to go the time needed to save for it. (My oldest DS will be off to college that fall, so I need LOTS of time to save money) Plus, It will also be lots of fun talking and planning on the boards here. Would love to have a bunch of us go - what could be more fun than meeting my swappin sisters in Disney?

I think we are looking at going in November of 2013 - like around Thanksgiving. We would love to have you come along! Woo Hoo - the more the merrier!

Danielle, very happy that you are taking steps forward!! Julia and I would be in for a trip around Thanksgiving in 2013. Josh will still be in college so I will be leaving him and DH home. Julia is ready for another girls only trip and her birthday usually falls around Thanksgiving so this would be perfect for a sweet 16 for her!

Sorry we won't be able to do the 2013 fall trip... we actually already have a graduation trip planned for June of 2014 to celebrate our DS15's graduation.. We are going for each of our kids' graduations.... the next graduation trip will be 2019 (but we may have to pay for significant others by that time... or maybe a little one..... I'm not pushing either issue!)

Have a great trip. I'm bummed I couldn't work it out to meet up with everyone, but the kids and my parents are really looking forward to their time and a detour was out of the question when I asked.

those are two big selling points....we don't need the big rooms, but look forward to seeing what they do at the new resort.....FL is a big draw for us too!!
