ABC filming of Disney Christmas

Was anyone at the taping of ABC’s Disney Christmas I saw it on LBTV Disney on YouTube.

We were there Saturday morning, I think they were just doing interviews then, as I never heard music. Had a few locations set up near the castle + the stage in front with the selected crowd.

We walked through the hub just to see who was there but it didn't bother us. I did feel bad for folks wanting a classic castle picture and couldn't.

My cousin was there from ETPE to park close. Was able to do 18 attractions and had a great day in spite of the crowds. 4 lines were long but the rest were manageable. They were happy to be there!

We were in MK on Saturday which was the first day of taping. Cranes/lighting crews were all over the place and you couldn't get close to the castle. The special pre-selected crowd was at the front and they had ropes up all over the place. We did get to see Michael Bolton sing (in the rain) and Chrissy Metz.

Thinking about doing this next year. Are there special tickets for the taping, any tips on how to get chosen to be "in the crowd"? How do we find out the dates? TIA.

Only Cast Members are eligible to get tickets for the tapings.

My cousin happened to be in MK the day they filmed in 2023. They enjoyed their day even though there was filming around them. They were able to watch some filming from a distance but CMs and their families were the official crowds.
