ABC/CNN Merger?

Saw news report that Eisner was speaking at meeting in New York this morning (November 13) and said there was a 50/50 chance that ABC and CNN would merge, apparently as a new company/joint venture between Disney and AOL Time Warner. First I heard of this. Anyone know what is going on?

Again, it wouldn't be a merger between ABC and CNN -- just a merged news operation. In other words, Disney would continue to own ABC outright, but ABC would obtain its news programming from a joint venture company.
