ok i think my brain feel out of my head last night, 'cause i'm not getting it???
put the letters on the bottom and the track on the top??
and on the second mat make the r/r crossing signs?? i have that on one of my carts. -going places i think?- is that what you mean??

Yes, the railroad sign on going places would be perfect.. put it in yellow to give you some extra color.

Keep the track up top on the mat.. put the letters like the R is now.. try to see what it would look like w/ the rest of the letters following the track and than going straight across level w/ the "R" and the track going it's direction.. does that make since?


and put the letters straight?


and of course i'll cut them out for you. yes they are 12inches. how many and what color?? no problem.

I agree with Nancy. The track on the topper is the way to go. I think the letters following the track will look great. This is going to be a nice page!!!

ok wait i think i've got it. does it have to have a mat underneath it??? YES!i can't double the letters because they are sizzix letters not cricut letters. so can i just put the track and the letters sitting on top like they are riding the rails but WITH THE mat underneath

and then the black felt train on both photomats and the r/r crossing sign on the journal box???Could you try this.. one train like it is now on the title page... the railroad crossing on the 2nd photo mat... and than possibly the remainder of the track since they are 12" on the j.box.. ???
Otherwise your idea is PERFECT!!!!

So the letters follow the track like notes in music? I think that would look cuter than cute. I think it does need the black back mat to make everything pop. Put the letters ON TOP of the track. (so the track shows through the letters)

The train on the title page, the RXR sign on the second mat and the rest of the track on a journal box (either seen or hidden) would be very nice.

The letters don't need to be shadowed, especially if you do the mat/track/letter layers.

so awm are you saying put them right on top like in my 1st "help me" post???? so if i do that what color letters because dh says the white looks washed out next to the silver???

Yes.

If you use yellow on the RXR sign, then white for R and yellow for the rest of the letters might look nice and all pulled together. A nice deep yellow. Think Pooh yellow. Otherwise, I would stay with just white.

ok dh is done helping!!!!!!!!! he's off to cut the grass. he stands by his no white with silver. you asked my opinion and i gave it to you. i can't help it if you don't like it was what i got!!!!!!

i have such a bloody headache over this. i'm going to go play with is and see what i come up with.

have you tried the yellow additional letters? just try one or two of them...

Don't let DH get to you.. they are men... they give their answer and there is no changing their mind!!
