Could some please tell me what DH & DD stand for. I am a novice to this "boarding" stuff. Thx :bounce:

Some people refer to them as "Disney Husband", "Disney Daughter", "Disney Son", etc.

Basically your relatives!!!!

MJ

"D" can refer to "Disney", "Dear", or "Darling" depending on your preference. My preference is "Darling".

DD = Daughter
DS = Son
DW = Wife
DH = Husband

If a DS or DD has a number following it, the number refers to their age. Therefore, if I referred to my DS5, I'd be speaking about my 5-year-old darling son.

MIL= Mother in law, as so it goes for FIL, BIL and SIL
TA = Travel Agent
Also, DD (2) can mean your second Disney/Darling/Dear Daughter or your 2 yr old daughter. And for some it means DDog! I would look at the posts to get its meaning in context. hehehehe

DCL = Disney Cruise Line
RCCl = Royal Carribean Cruise Line

Then of course, you have all the WDW (walt disney world) resorts, AKL, BC, BW, GF, Poly, etc. DL and CA for Disneyland and California Adventure....

Anyone else think of any important ones?

And I'm still puzzled by some of those, since we don't usually stay onsite when visiting the Mouse.

Thanks to everyone for the info. I think I've got this "boarding" thang down now!! See You at the Mouse's House!! Robin :earsboy: :earsgirl: :p
