Thinking back on all the CRAP he had to put up with (from the media and fans) when he came in under Favre, the man never once said a negative word in public about the treatment he was receiving, put his head down and did what needed to be done with no complaining.

So for him to take his team to the Super Bowl and WIN~ kudos to you, Aaron Rodgers. You deserve this more than anyone. :thumbsup2

Congrats on being named MVP (you've already got Favre beat :rotfl:) and being such an upstanding man and player, knowing your integrity and conduct (both on and off the field) has never been called into question.

GO PACK GO!!!!!

Not a Packers fan but a huge ARod fan, he maybe the best QB in the league right now, certainly top 5, glad ya'll won, would have hated to see the Steelers win 7.:scared1:

My BIL, a Wisconsin native and huge Pack fan sent me a text yesterday after the game "Bret who?" :lmao:

Speaking of A-Rod... apparently he can no longer feed himself. :lmao:

And yes, I know you meant ARod as in A roDgers.... it just made me think of ARod and Diaz.... my husband and I laughed so hard when we saw her feeding him.

OMGosh, me too. That was quite possibly the funniest moment like that in Superbowl history. I mean, I can see him with a typical "dancer girl" or something doing that in a VIP lounge or something, but on national TV with Cameran Diaz? Classic. Gives new meaning to eating popcorn::

I think that's pretty much the concensus in Packer country today. :rotfl:

Speaking of Brett who, did you hear what he said about the Packers before the Super bowl about their chances. Something along the lines of Dick Labo is great, best WR in the league, etc., etc., no mention of A-Rod, who is 10 times the QB Brett is IMO. I think Arod will end up winning more superbowls for sure. He may not break all of Brett's records, but I do think they will win at least one more SB with this line up. Maybe a dynasty in the making.

I completely agree with you, SaraJayne! I was so happy for him and the team last night!

I completly agree OP!!! Being that neither is "our team" we were cheering for GB because of that. We wanted him to win cause he seems like a genuine good guy and it would be good to show Favre. Plus, I really don't care for Roethlisburger.

Amen! Rodgers has made it an amazing year to watch football. He and the Pack should be immensely proud of their accomplishments this year. This could be the start of a dynasty!

I agree with that--they are a young team, they all seem to be level headed, all good signs.

Gah! I wish they hadn't done so well. I've been able to pick him up with no problems for the last three years in my fantasy football team, now I have a feeling I'll have to fight for him! (jk by the way, I'm super happy for them :thumbsup2)

I almost fell over when Letterman asked Aaron when he was going to retire? The look on his face was classic. :lmao: Favre who? Already looking forward to another good year this fall!! GO PACK GO!

We're pretty proud of him here in Northern California. He grew up in a small town - my boys went to college in his hometown - Chico. We watched him as a QB for the Cal Bears and were so disappointed when the 49ers didn't draft him. But - it worked out for him. I don't think he would have had the success that he's had in Green Bay!
