On Saturday August 26, a singing sensations career ended. Aaliyah Haughton was one of eiight people killed in the crash. She was a fantastic singer who was aspiring to become an actress. Her songs were nominated for a Grammy and won an MTV Video Music Award. Her movie Romeo Must Die had great reviews. She was signed for two other movies, one of which was The Matrix 2 , which was due out in 2002. She will be greatly missed.

Hey guys, isn't this sOoO sad? I lliked her songs alot and she wuz so young! She will really be missed!

This is so sad!! And yesterday I got the latest Teen People magazine, and guess who was on the cover? Aaliyah! (and Fred Durst) and it wasn't in regard to the accident. I was like whoa what a coincidence. And then when I was listening to the radio, they played some of the messages that people left on a special line just for Aaliyah. They were so sad!! I stopped what I was doing just to listen to them. She was really talented and so young.

Its strange that i havent heard anything about this on the news where i am. Im sure it was on and i just missed it, but theyre not really making a big deal about it i guess. the only way i found out about it was here on the Dis
