Aaargh!!!!! No more baskets from Peggy!

I am SO mad!!!!! Well, not mad AT Peggy - happy she got a new job!

However!...I've been planning and waiting and was a week away from ordering a basket from her to surprise my boys when we got to POR. Now she's done and I'm SO bummed!

Does anyone know of a similar service?? I was so wanting to have a little something waiting for the kids.

I know!! I had just written out all the candy and MM pretzels, and debated on this or that... had a nice plush picked out..

but as a teacher in need of a classroom - I cant be mad!! (just selfish!! )

I've used wdwflorist before - (yes, Peggy had to take a break once before so I missed her twice now!!) DD enjoyed it, its just you dont get to choose the snacks, and dd only liked about half of them - she wasnt even crazy about the soda they packed!!

I went to Disney Store and picked up some things - I think I will just play Tinkerbelle - I'll have wdw florist bring something with a mylar Tinkerbelle balloon for the first day, and then leave things in the night for her...

Its not Peggy, but it will have to do!!

I just keep thinking of all those lucky kids that are going to get her love!!

There is a company over in Cape Canaveral that everyone uses for cruises. We used her in 2003, but I can't remember her name. I wonder if she would bring her baskets to WDW. They were very nice. I'm sure there is something on the Dis's DCL forum.

Are you sure about this? I sent her an email 2 days ago and she sent me back some info on how to proceed with the order etc... I was just checking out the candies etc and making my basket! Wow that went fast....

When my kids were little, I bought inexpensive Disney items and wrapped them for each day of our trip (pjs, coloring books, logo shirt, little toy disney figures, etc....). I'd slip back into the room and leave them on the table or their bed (housekeeping always set it out nice after cleaning the room). It was a LOT cheaper than a basket, more practical, and better stuff. Just an idea.

Peggy posted today on the Disney for Families forum that she got a job offer today and is accepting it starting 8/23. She will do the confirmed orders but is taking no more. I am VERY glad I got my order in for our 8/26 trip already!

Oh no! I was going to order a "Welcome to Disney" basket for my fiance... it's his first time to Disney... I was just completely and totally in love with her services!!
