:sad2::sad2: looking at the weather forecast for when we are there!! A few days ago it said the week of the 23-28 ( our disney days) it said it was going to be sunny and warm, Now all of a sudden to day it is going to be rainy and mild. It is driving me koocoo and I need to stop looking !!
sorry vent over:rotfl:

don't care either way, might actually prefer a light rain to keep more people away. As long as it is above freezing and there is no snow, I will be happy!!

Don't worry! I'm pretty sure it won't snow!:goodvibes
I've still got a few weeks, but I'll be dwelling on the weather soon. I can deal with ponchos.;)

I was checking the weather for my trip a few times a day and I swear it changed hourly on weather.com. But we arrived today to perfect weather and looks like it will hold through the weekend.

Late January in California? Hahahaha! They could change that forecast on you a dozen times in two weeks. Wait until you get about a week out, then start checking. abc7.com is a good one to use. :goodvibes

We'll be there during that time too. It looks like the first couple days are sunny, then rain. I may actually like a little rain. I will just have to pack the rain jackets and boots too! My mom is coming from Seattle, so she will probably just wear a baseball hat! LOL

I'm just curious but which weather forecast are you looking at that shows you that far out? We are supposed to be 80 today and I don't see anything but sunny for the next 10 days (lowest temp. shows about 67 on the 23rd).

I've been watching weather.com and it has been all over the place. Now it shows nice and in the 70's for most of our visit (19-22) but chances of rain on Friday which is our Fanstamic dessert thing..which if it is canceled I wonder what they'll do because I really don't think I should have to pay $340 for some dessert boxes with no show...

Your post made me giggle a little because some people get upset about paying for the dessert box, others get upset about paying for the seat. You have basically bought theatre tickets for an outside show.

So, technically, you have paid for reserved seats with a complimentary dessert box and refreshments. That said, Disney has everywhere that they are not responsible for weather and cancellations or closures due to weather. However, Disney also wants happy guests. Generally speaking, if a Fantasmic! show is cancelled and you have paid for reserved seating, they make every effort to re-schedule you into another night. If that cannot be done, it's up to them as to whether or not to offer a refund, as it's a cancellation due to weather. Remember, kindness and smiles goes a LOT further than anger and frustration. :goodvibes

The one thing that I learned about California weather is to expect the unexpected, especially late Jan in to late Feb. The weather can change from day to day, and so long as you are prepared with rain ponchos and colder weather gear just in case you shouldn't have a problem. Just enjoy the parks no matter what weather, as you are in the happiest place on earth, so who cares about the weather (unless you get drenched on GRR and have to walk the entire day soaked!:banana:).

we fly into anahiem on monday (17th), but will not be going to disney till 23rd. I have been checking accu weather (?) it has changed almost every day *lol* I am good with rain ( the boy would love new disney theamed poncho"s) We have fantasmic dessert tickets for the sunday (23rd) so I only hope the weather holds out for that. Last time we went 2007 it was cancelled due to weather so we have never seen it.

does anyone know do they sell rubber boots at disney?? just in case there is lots of rain? (my kids don't own any)

p.s. when I booked my fantasmic tickets, the told me that they were NON_REFUNDABLE.

3 sleeps wahooo:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

I booked a Fantasmic dessert package yesterday for the 28th and she specifically said that the tickets were non-refundable UNLESS the show was cancelled due to weather or technical issues.

oh I am so glad to know that :cool1:, must have missed when she said that!
( I was in a rush to get everyone off to school and work) thanks for the info !:goodvibes

kitalyn414 ~ I just have to say your baby is the cutest ever!:goodvibes

We are doing the F! package in early March and hope for dry skies as well. :)

Small world...we were going to book for the 28th also. My daughters decided to do another TS meal instead. We have never done F! at DL. My daughters have seen the WDW version many, many times, but I couldn't get them excited enough for the priority seating.

I sure hope we get good weather!
