I just had to share becaue I am spiltting at the seams with excitement!!!!
As you can see in my siggy, our wedding is in three months (ish). Well today i was catching up on the operational updates for the week we are down there. We had ressies at San Angel Inn for the day after the wedding to share our first dinner together as husband and wife with a special request to be next to the water of the Rio del Tiempo. Romantic right?
Well after review of the operational updates, Rio del Tiempo is close dthe entire month of March
Not only is it a fave of mine, but i became concerned about our ressies. I was afraid that they may possibly drain the "river" to refurbish. So anyways i got to thinking, "Hmmmm where can we go now?".
Magic Kingdom is my fave park hands down, so i thought since this would be our first park visit for our trip what better place to start? So I began looking at restaurantsin MK. My eyes caught Cinderella's Royal Table and my thought was "Yeah right that was booked up months ago".
So i decided to call and make ressies at Mama melrose's for a Fantasmic Package (yeah it's not MK, but Fantasmic in my opinion is proof of the geniuses behind disney!), so I call........
The woman answers (Anita) and asks where we would like to dine. Something hit me and i blurt out......
"I know it is practically impossible but do you have anything available at Cinderella's Royal Table? It is our first day as a married couple and I would love to eat there!"
She checks for what feels like eternity and says......"Actually.....we have one table left a 6:30 for that evening"
Me: "I WILL TAKE IT!!!!"
I never thought i coukld land that reservation three months out, but it is ours! What better way to spend our first evening together as husband and wife? Nothing can top this!
Case in point: It never hurts to ask!
Even thought it was chance and not at all a dream granted, even if we get nothing on our honeymoon or wedding day as a part of YOMD, i will count this as my dream that was given to me!!! Maybe not by a CM, but by my fairy god mother.....Anita!!!
Just had to share!
