It's not just the DIS boards when PMing...you type the entire thing only to find their PM box is full.

I'm using an online resume builder entering all my information. I finally get done with one section that I must have spent 45 minutes or longer on, click spell check and save. Aaaauuugghh! It logged me out! Went back in and my info I entered is NOT there! I'll have to re-enter everything.

Highlight and copy, highlight and copy, before you ever go off a page on the Net or just your PC for that matter), if you have anything more than a line or two or more than a minute or two invested. Lessons learned.

You'll probably come up with better wording anyway, Sandy, make lemonade.

Dontcha' just hate it when that happens ! Walk away, take a break, grab a coke or tea or whatever is to your liking and sit a spell. I bet it will be even better next go round! Good Luck!

I hate when that happens. But do take Dan's advice, I TRY to do that whenever possible. But sometimes I do forget. And it drives me CRAZY!!

Thanks, everyone. Yup, took a short break and re-entered it. It turned out okay. Gee...when I'm working and typing something, I save it contantly along the way in Word. Why didn't I do that? But it bugs me that it logged me off without even a warning.
