Just received a 40% pin code in my email. Normally I would be jumping up and down in joy. 40% for a Disney room? Sign me up! Only problem is I already booked a room at CBR for my birthday week (August 2-9) at what I thought was a good rate of 35% off. Should I cancel this and book at the new rate or just let it go?

An extra 5% is an extra 5%. Call and ask if they can apply the greater discount to your existing ressie.

I would call to see if they have rooms available with the 40% pin code and then see if you can apply it to your current booking instead of the 35%. If they have rooms available but can't apply it to your current booking I would rebook with the 40% and just cancel the other booking. I think it would be worth it to call and save that extra 5%. :goodvibes

I did exactly that and was successful. All these years of going to Disney and not getting a 40% code until I registered my birthday.
