Aaaaahhhhh!! I can't stand it!(vent)

We refinanced our house last Saturday. We were told that the check would be sent to us after the 3 day cancellation time was up. They asked if we wanted it sent regular mail or did we want it sent overnight at our expense($25). We opted for overnight. We were assured that it would be sent out on Thursday and we would be gauranteed to have it on Friday. Well, I just called the lawyers office and was told "There was a problem getting the paperwork to the bank and we don't know when it will be going out to you." I can't stand when people don't tell you what's going on. If I hadn't called them I would have gone all weekend not knowing what was going on. Really makes me crazy!

I'm sorry that happened to you! I can relate though. We went thru the "refinance fiasco" a couple months ago. We're not too pleased at how it ended, but we did get 4.74% for a 15 year mortgage, so we're happy overall. It is rude though that no one at least called to let you know there was a problem.

So will they refund the $25 overnight fee??
