Has anyone booked through the AAA website? Apparently they still have some discounted rooms for certain resorts that CRO no longer has any AAA discounts for. Does it cause any extra hassle to book through their website as opposed to CRO? Thanks in advanced.

I would also suggest you call your local AAA travel agent - I know some people have great luck - others not so much - DD just book her honeymoon through AAA agent (I gave DD membership as one early wedding present). Booking online is great - but when you can ask questions of a real human being - it sure helps.

If you book through AAA, I would advise you to call their office directly. I had a bad experience with their website and then the AAA travel agent scolded me for using it! I was so angry that I could have screamed! If they think that you should call them as opposed to booking through their site, they shouldn't have the booking part available online then. I went on there to book and put in my dates and it said the amount per night (not stating whether or not that included tax), I then entered my cc# and whammo, it booked me with nothing showing me how much they charged me total. I called them the next day and they siad that the total isn't in their computer, that I would have to call Disney and get the total. I called and spoke to several people at Disney who said that they don't get the info until about a week before the person arrives. Therefore I couldn't find out my total, and was also told that I couldn't book Magical Express until Disney had the information. I ended up cancelling my reservations and booking directly through Disney for the AAA rate. Anway, I would just recommend calling AAA directly! :)

i was in the same situation you are in. i really wanted to stay at wilderness lodge but there were no rooms available through cro, even at full price. so i decided to look on aaa.com and they had it  i had no problems at all, and would not hesitate to use the website again.

I too booked thru the AAA website for our stay in July as AAA had their discounted room rate available and two calls to CRO yielded 'no available AAA discount'. Shortly after I booked online thru AAA, I rec'd an email from a AAA agent with her name, email and phone number for any additional questions that may come up. It was a very good experience and I wouldn't hesitate to book that way again. (This was for a room only reservation)
