I have a reservation booked through Disney in Sept. with the free dining. I'm a AAA member. Can I get a discount on the package or will it be the same as through Disney? I have called my local AAA 2 different times and have yet to hear back from them. Any help would be appreciated.

They can't combine 2 discounts- so you wouldn't get the room discount and free dining.

But, if you book free dining w/AAA they are using a different code than the free dining available to the general public and I have seen AAA's free dining code come out a little cheaper.

I received a Disney towl as a gift for booking with AAA and when I had a problem down in Disney AAA intervened. Had I not had AAA to help I would have been dead in the water. The other bonus is the AAA parking pass that you get up close to the parks. We actually got right up front first row. Dh loved me for that one!

I know the Free Dining deadline is over, but I just thought I'd throw this in....
Another perk of booking through AAA is the 20% discount card for shopping in DTD! I used it last year, bought all my gifts at once & saved $$$!!!

HI!
We booked our trip in August through AAA and called Disney to see if it would be a little less, but it was dollar for dollar the same amount! I was sure that D would be cheaper.

I am pretty sure that this applies to ANY AAA member - you just show your AAA card at the store. You don't have to book thru AAA for this perk :wizard:

Did AAA send this to you in the mail? just wondering, because we booked through them as well.....of course, just using your card would probably be easer.

Cool tidbit, thanks for posting!

No, it came with all of our paperwork for the trip.

Thanks for the info! Too bad my AAA agent didn't explain this to me when we booked our package. I had no idea about the discount card. Glad I checked out this thread!

Actualy you have to book through AAA to get this card. It used to be just showing your AAA card would get you the discount ,but no more.
