AAA Visa Travel Money Card

Has anyone had any experience using this? Was it accepted everywhere Visa was accepted?

I am thinking about using this for my minor DD when she travels. She has lost cash in the past......this seems safer.

I just wonder if this is any different/better than a reloadable Green Dot card at Walmart. Thoughts?

I have used one for travel in Asia and didn't have any problems with it. I primarly used it to obtain cash at big banks, not to pay for a lot of things. I don't do Walmart, so I can't comment on their card.

The one thing I would say is that the fees aren't insignificant. And look at the website carefully. Places will put holds on the funds available on the cards.
