AAA tickets

I am not a member of AAA but I have a good friend who works for them, I know that I can not use the hotel discount as they ask for AAA id upon check-in, however I was wondering if I would be able to buy discounted park tickets through my friend and use them..do they check your AAA id at the parks?

No they don't. You are fine to have someone else buy them for you.
