AAA TA Recommendation

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a AAA TA for AAA Carolinas? I am just not happy with the one we currently have. She is great at calling back I will give her credit for that but she never seems to know anything when I call her with a question. She makes me feel like an idiot for even asking or sounds like I am bothering her. I realize she is not a Disney agent and that is the trade-off for a discount I guess. Anyway I just thought maybe someone had a suggestion a TA they really like in my area. I have a few more questions and I'd really rather speak to someone else. I know I can call and just talk to whoever answers but I like being able to deal with the same person each time. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Linda Long has been fabulous. She booked by June 2005 vac and my Jan 2006 vac at W/L. Very prompt--especially via e-mail.

I know you said you are looking for a AAA agent, but have you thought of using another travel agency? I use The Magic For Less and work with Deb. Love her!!!! She got me a AAA discount for my room. So as far as discounts, I would think a good agent, regardless of AAA status, could get you a discount. I can email Deb about anything, and she gets back to me right away. Always has an answer or finds it for me. I had terrible luck with our AAA office years ago, so I won't use them for Disney at all. TMFL is my travel agency for everything now.

Some people will not care to have these, but booking through AAA agency will get you some small perks. Just received quote today and it included storytelling voucher, Planet Hollywood vouchers; food and merchandise.

So I finally called Michelle Shears today. She was wonderful!!! I highly recommend her
DWMouser-I found out a little bit about the storytelling vouchers. She said they are basically vouchers that allow you a special story time with character in the Magic Kingdom. Evidently I didn't get the information about this either. I will post more if I find out any other info.

DId you get any of the perks mentioned above? Story telling vouchers, etc..? Just curious if AAA was offereing any special incentives at this time.

Thanks disneymom. My granddaughter will like the storytelling. I forgot to ask my agent where. Guess I'll find out when I get my package!!!

Hello...the storytelling is done in the AAA VIP Lounge in the Magic Kingdom. If you are getting this, call 407-wdw-dine to book. Reservations are required

Thanks Kristin! By the way, I sent that insurance thing today. We decided not to.

Does a character do the storytelling? How long does it last? Did you do it when you went?

To be honest it is brand new. From what I have been told, a character does do the storytelling. It is select days and is about an hour and a half.

I also sing praises for Michelle and Miranda in the AAA office at the above number - I guess it is in Mt. Pleasant. They were great and found me some park hopper, non-exp tickets for so cheap, I could afford to actually eat while I am at Disney. :cool1:
