AAA Room-Only w/DDP

I called up Disney yesterday and asked about booking a room-only w/the AAA discount and then asked about getting the DDP with that. They said that they could not give me the DDP with the room-only reservation, but I thought I read in one of the threads that you were able to get the DDP w/a room-only reservation? Thanks.

You cannot add DDP to a room-only reservation. You must book a package which includes the dining and a one-day MYW base ticket (minimum) for each person in the room. In order to get the AAA discount, the package must be booked through AAA. You can make a room-only reservation with a AAA discount directly through Disney.

Of course, the DDP package without a AAA discount can be booked directly through Disney, as well.

I am pretty sure that you have to purchas a Magic Your Way package to get the dining plan. I think the exception is for DVC.

antmaril is right. I had to go to AA to receive the discount with dining plan of course I am getting the free dining so they didn't offer a discount on the room - you ARE ONLY allowed one discount.
