Does anyone know if it's now possible to book Room only at an AAA rate for 2007?

Thanks :D

We have a room only reserved right now and our T.A. has our AAA # so that when the AAA rates are released (they are not available yet) she can apply the discount. Hope this helps.

BTW, we are useing Small World Travel Agency this time, first time for us....hope it's worth it and they are as good as some people say....we'll see :scared:

Thanks patfan, any idea when they will be released?

I was told sometime in August. I'm hoping to have all my ducks in a row price/option wise before October. That is when my DB and his family copme up to visit from N.C. and we nail them down to particulars for this trip! We are going next July with a boat-load of people...how 'bout you?

Sounds like you have a good trip planned with your group, hope it all goes well for you and you manage to get everybody organised!

We have two trips planned next year, a week in Feb staying at the Polynesian, and then in August we are touring California, and are then flying over to WDW for 5 days, before flying home to the UK. I'm still deciding on the hotel, but we may go back to the Dolphin for that one, as we do love the place. It is just myself, DH, DD age 16 and DS age 13 so not too bad in the decision stakes, as basically I am the planner so get to make all the decision! ;)

I saw in your sig all your trip plans after I asked what you were planning....I'm just a little slow sometimes. You have had some amazing trips in the past and this one sounds awesome as well!

My fingers are crossed! It will be the 4 of us (DH,me, and 2 DS's-will be 15 & 18), my DB and his 3 girls (age 13,15 & 22) and his wife, my parents who both need wheelchairs and maybe my sister and someone from her family (son ,DSIL or DH).

Wow definitely a Group then! ;) Hope it all goes OK, with the children being older they can help with the wheelchair pushing. Though have you thought about hiring ECV scooters? They may not be suitable for your parents but just thought I would mention it. I hired one a few trips ago as I had a foot injury, got it from www.walkermobility.com They delivered to the Dolphin, it was there waiting for us, then when we left for home, we just left the scooter at the hotel for them to pick up, so no hassle at all - might be worth a thought, as it will let your parents go where they want to go, when they want to, instead of being pushed, and will also save anyone having to push them, I certainly enjoyed still having my independence even though I couldn't walk very far. :thumbsup2

I have, but both my parents don't feel comfortable with the idea. If they were younger, maybe, but they are both in their late 60's and both afraid they would run people over etc....I don't want to push it because if they had to spend the whole time worrying about driving the EVC's they wouldn't enjoy anything. I will suggest they try them out at the grocery stores to at least give it a shot, but I think we're stuck with manual chairs :)

I can understand how they feel, as my late mother was the same, she just didn't feel confident enough to try a scooter. I must admit, you do need to have your wits about you and I did have a few near misses, especially in larger crowds as people step right out in front of you, so it is probably for the best that they stick to manual chairs if they feel that way. It's good you have some many strapping young people in your party to do the pushing! :thumbsup2
