I know that AAA also has international affiliates. I had looked it up last year when planning our vacation, but found that since we were, even though we did not reside in America, we could get the American AAA membership-otherwise we would have asked further about discounts with the affiliated club here in Italy. Here is what the AAA website says about affiliated clubs worldwide. I would call to verify benefits.
Savings are also extended to international members of international SYC&S affiliated clubs who are visiting the United States. The Show Your Card & Save® program offers savings in various countries across the world. You may benefit from savings in United States & Canada, as well as Australia, Colombia, Jamaica, Japan, Mexico, South Africa, South Korea , Sri Lanka, and in 32 ARC Europe countries. Please check with your home club for reciprocal benefits and availability.
AAA is a federation of affiliated automobile clubs. Each AAA club is an independent, not-for-profit organization, chartered and incorporated in its own state and controlled by its own Board of Directors. In order to be affiliated with AAA, each club agrees to provide certain standard services to its own members, as well as members of other AAA clubs. The individual club owns the territory in which it resides, and membership is based on residence. Exact dues and services will vary slightly between clubs.
