AAA rates for Feb. 2014

Hi Everyone.

We have a preferred room currently booked at ASM for Feb. for 2 nights. The rates are $103 for Thursday and $117 for Friday. (booked 6 months ago - room only).

At the time, I was told to try to call in August to see if the AAA discount could be applied to my rates. I tried that last week and they didnt have anything availalble for the AAA rates for my dates except the suites which we dont need.

Can someone tell me if the rates we have are good? Should I keep trying to get a AAA discount? Will it lower the rates much?

That sounds about right...and is a good price. We always stay there in January or February and use AAA. From what I remember that seems in same ballpark.The AAA discount is only 10%. It's not that much. It is not really even enough to cover the tax! So don't worry about not getting it.
