AAA rates are available for June/July 2012 !

On a whim and a feeling, I called WDW reservations today to see if we could get AAA rates for POFQ at end of June into early July 2012...
I expected to hear call back in August...
BUT
A nice CM said - yes I could get an AAA rate for our Room Only reservation for our dates in 2012 !

We saved 10%, for us about $230, but every penny of savings helps!

Our average night stay which includes 3 peak nights for 4th of July weekend is now $177.25 including tax & $15 for our adult DS (age 20).
So our average is really $162.25 per night - a great rate for us

Our reservation number and our requests all remained the same.
Just the rate changed.

If you do not have a package (not sure if those rates are out) - call to see if you can snag an AAA room only rate for your dates in 2012.
I know a limited number of rooms at each resort can have the AAA rate.

Thank you! At the moment I have AAA room only Club level booked at the WL for 2 rooms - 8 nights. Saved almost $1000 over the rate quoted before the AAA discount.

Wow. I guess this means package prices should be released sometime soon.

Wow, good job. I can even get AAA for Dec 2011 and I've been trying since first day I could make a reservation when I called in 2010.

I just called and was told to call back, that they weren't available yet for 2/12. Boo! Guess I'll have to keep checking.

So do I call CRO or my AAA TA? Now, i'm starting to wonder if I may have jumped the gun by just booking a package w/ my TA instead of calling WDW directly. I will be calling the CRO first thing just to see. Thanks for the info.
