I would like to book a stay for end of January. My AAA card is good through early January. If I book now and give my AAA number is that enough, or will I have to show AAA card when I arrive too, (meaning I'd have to renew before then?), or is all that matters is I have a valid number when I make a reservation a few weeks earlier? Thanks!

Most hotels will ask for the AAA card when you check in. Some don't but I think they have the right to ask for proof of current AAA membership. I believe Disney looks at the AAA card at check in.

I tried to get the AAA rate discount for Spring Break, however unable to due to Peak season! Oh well! We will be okay...

don't take a chance and use the AAA card for booking a room and then not be eligible for it.

you will need to show the AAA card when you check in.
you have a valid card when you book but need to have a valid card when you check in.

i have been staying onsite since the hotels went up.
i either use the AP card rate or the AAA card rate, which ever is best for me.

the past 2 stays i had to show the card.
the check in employee knew me but was required to see it .....

if you book with a specific card rate that gives you a room discount, if you can't show the card, your room rate will revert back to rack rate.
