Does Disney limit the number of rooms it will sell at the AAA rate?

Yes they do.

I just tried to get a AAA discount for the CR in October, but all the standard Tower MK view rooms set aside for AAA were already gone. We have a rack rate room reserved, but the CM advised us to call back occasionally since people do change their plans and a AAA room might become available.
