AAA Poly question ...have to re-book?

I've already booked the Poly concierge, can I join AAA now and call Disney to apply the discount , or do I have to cancel and rebook everything? The trip is booked for April.
Thanks in Advance for your help. We also purchased 6 day parkhopper w/ the room.
