AAA Parking Lot Certificate

Has anyone used the AAA Diamond Parking certificate, and if so, is it worth getting one? Thanks!

I guess, the answer is it is worth it depending on the park.

Epcot - yes, you get to park in the 2nd row.

MGM - yes, you get to park on the end of a row right by the tram pickup spot.

MK - never parked there but based on other posts, NO. You park at the end of the handicap row. It is a long walk.

AK - never parked there but will in 15 days (backstage safari)

we used it at all the parks and although at mk you had more of a walk, we preferred it since we didn't have to fold up both strollers to get on the tram.
i thought it was well worth it at all parks and i had recommended it to a friend and that was the first thing she thanked me for when she came back.
bottom line, if you have it, use it. you can always go back to the regular parking lot if you're not happy.

I am a member of AAA how do you get one and what is it.

You can pick it up at your AAA office. I got one when I went to buy my park passes last trip.

But just be aware that there are blackout dates. When we went last October we couldn't use it at MK and it would have been great to not have to fold up the stroller to get onto the tram. I do remember that the other parks blackouts were during peak times like Christmas/Thanksgiving and possibly February and April breaks, but MK had a long list so be sure to check the back of the pass so you are not disappointed.

We did never use ours, DH did not want to have to figure out where it was at each park.

With most AAA offices you don't get the pass unless you book a vacation package with AAA. Tickets only purchase doesn't (usuall) qualify.
